TEXAR offers a variety of accounts! Whether you are saving for the future, or just need a debit card and checking account, TEXAR has an account to fit your needs. Apply online or stop by one of our branches to open your account today!

Avoid Monthly Fees:

  1. Make a Monthly direct deposit
  2. Make a minimum of 10 debit card transactions each month
  3. Be enrolled in E-statements
*Member must maintain an average daily balance of $500.00 or a fee of $5.00 will be assessed monthly if not using the services above.

Stop Payment

Need to issue a stop payment? TEXAR has two ways you can do that! 

Option 1: Draft* (Checks)

Login into your online banking & follow the steps below 

  1. Click on your TEXAR 1 Checking 
  2. Select Stop Payment
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your Stop Payment

*Note: Draft Stop Payments can only be completed online; they cannot be done through the TEXAR mobile app

Option 2: ACH*

  • To request an ACH stop payment stop by one of our locations or message us through the TEXAR mobile app 

*Note: An ACH debit is a pre-authorized debit processed through the Automated Clearing House.  An ACH debit transaction occurs when authorization is given to a company/merchant to initiate debits from an account for payment of products or services.


 

 






















 

Need checks? TEXAR has two options for you! 

To order personal checks please visit the Harland Clarke website and fill out the online Reorder Form. Harland Clarke will print the checks and mail them to your home. You may place your order with Harland Clarke using information found on your check or by entering your unique Reorder ID located on the yellow reorder form enclosed in your previous order. If you are unable to order checks, please call TEXAR and we will gladly help you place an order!
 
You can also personalized your checks with dozens of Harland Clarke designs available to you. There may be an additional charge for personalized checks, if you choose this option.


You can use a TEXAR cashier's check for large purchases, paying bills, or a variety of other reasons. A cashier’s check eliminates the risk associated with receiving a traditional check because the funds are guaranteed by the financial institution. A traditional check is dependent on the paying party having enough in their account to cover the full face value of the check.
